The DeadlineMaterials-Pencil,acrylic paint,12 by 16 canvas
Year-2018 Class-Painting For my very first project I wanted to keep it anime related but not plagiarized. My inspiration behind this piece was pretty straight forward as it says in the actual painting. There was a due date for project plans and then the scene when Saitama was monotone and said "ok" and that is what I was thinking at the time when I learned about the due date.

Wave of honorMaterials-Acrylic paint, pencil, 20 by 24 canvas, and modeling gel
Year-2018 Class-Painting The great wave of Kanegawa was so elegant through my eyes. I have always been fascinated by the Japanese culture and traditions because it is so cool how they do things and I am never bored. The red and white stripes come from the flag of happiness that was used in Japan during the 1930's- 40's which symbolized the land of the rising sun. The white represents honesty and the red meant brightness, sincerity, and warmth. My reasoning for doing the flag was because I wanted to give it an innocent feel to it and more calming instead of the raging waves of the original block print of Kanegawa.

Blessed BLOSSOMSMaterials-Acrylic paint, pencil, micron pens, 16 by 20 canvas Year-2018 Class-Painting For my final project I wanted to do another traditional Japanese style type of painting and I wanted to try Kanji since it looked very nice. The meaning behind this piece was for my birth month and that's around the time when the cherry blossoms bloom and it is such a beautiful sight.
