Year:2017 Class:Drawing In this project I wanted to express my favorite form of art and the beauty of nature.Tribal is one of the many things that I like to draw and the main purpose for this project is to focus on the lines and edges. This project gave me a new opportunity to improve my skills in colored pencils and the final piece was beautiful,to me anyway.I wanted the colors to pop out at you so you would only be able to see the flowers. |

Class-Drawing 2017 As usual I wanted to do something anime related. You can probably already guess that I am a big fan of Dragonball Z.This Whole idea was not originally my own,you see I had the help of a friend. As I was thinking about what to do for a project my friend wanted to show me a video of this basketball player and in this video it was edited to look like he just turned into a super saiyan,it was pretty cool so I decided to choose my friend as a base for this project. |
Opie is cloudy mindedRelief and monoprint-linoleum,printed picture, large brayer,5 by 10 printing paper, block printing ink,and linoleum cutters
Class-2D 2017 As You can see in this piece of art of mine there is a dog,my dog to be exact.I wanted to do a piece of artwork in honor of his magnificence and beauty,he is so soft and fluffy just like a cloud and sometimes he is my pillow so I can sleep safe and sound, thats why I chose clouds to show his fat and fluffiness and also for his dullness because he is not the brightest crayon in the box. |
wave of honorMaterials-Acrylic paint, pencil, 20 by 24 canvas, and modeling gel
Year-2018 Class-Painting The great wave of Kanegawa was so elegant through my eyes. I have always been fascinated by the Japanese culture and traditions because it is so cool how they do things and I am never bored. The red and white stripes come from the flag of happiness that was used in Japan during the 1930's- 40's which symbolized the land of the rising sun. The white represents honesty and the red meant brightness, sincerity, and warmth. My reasoning for doing the flag was because I wanted to give it an innocent feel to it and more calming instead of the raging waves of the original block print of Kanegawa.

The deadlineMaterials-Acrylic paint, pencil, micron pens, 16 by 20 canvas
Year-2018 Class-Painting For my final project I wanted to do another traditional Japanese style type of painting and I wanted to try Kanji since it looked very nice. The meaning behind this piece was for my birth month and that's around the time when the cherry blossoms bloom and it is such a beautiful sight. |
The generations of this hat stackMaterials-Photoshop
Year-2019 Class-Advanced For this art piece it was very successful for me since it was the first time ever for me drawing on a computer and it was the hardest thing I have every done. I have always been used to using paper and pencil but doing it electronically was very challenging yet fun. The idea of this entire piece came from looking through pinterest and I came across a photo of a bunch of hat stacked on top of each other. For some reason I thought about history and I am like "lets do it!" so I went for it and it turned out good. The first hat is from the old times like the wild west on the bottom unlike the orange-red one which was during the first world war. The blue hat was during mafia times like when Al Capone was alive and the last hat which is on top would be during the 80's through the 90's. |

Year-2019 Class-Digital Art This image is a recreated moment that I cherish and will not forget. This project was inspired by me playing the guitar recently and it made me recall the time I spent with a very close friend of mine. It was a birthday party for my best friend Chimeng's sister. When we went out to make the fire I brought my guitar as well and sang and played for them. |
Fear can be conquered by the help of anotherMaterials-Photoshop
Year-2019 Class-Digital Art My dog is afraid of water For the choices project it was pretty simple for me to choose what to do because its based off of a favorite memory of mine of my dog. The meaning that I was trying to convey was bravery by relying on another. There is this feeling we get when we are afraid to do something but if we do it with a friend we are more likely to do it. My dog is afraid of water so I thought it would be a little funny photoshopping him as a sailor riding a pig in water. |
i have to look goodMaterials-Colored pencil, micron pens, Water color brushes, water colors, sketch paper, and watercolor paper.
Year-2019 Class-Advanced This project is based on a personal sense and for others as well because we like to look presentable. Most kids like to look really good when they go to school and they have to be wearing the best brands. Nowadays people are very bias about what people wear because looks are everything but what people wear doesn't explain what that person truly is like. In this art I wanted to express that sure they may have the latest brands but that does not change who you are. |
